The Fisheries and Ecosystems Monitoring and Analysis Division collects and analyzes data on fishery resources and the status and dynamics of their habitat; the ecological processes which control resource productivity; and the performance of the fisheries and other uses of these resources.

From this data collection and analysis, the Division develops and provides information to other Center Divisions, and relevant advice and information to fishery and habitat managers at the regional, national, and international levels.
